Josep M. Armengol and Roberta Maierhofer took part in the international conference Men in Movement (Masculinities and Feasible Futures) held in Barcelona last week. You can see their interventions and more here.
Last week, José María Armengol presented the newly created MA in Masculinity Studies to be launched this year at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha at the MenEngage Ubuntu Symposium, among other interesting proposals and models related to formation in the study of masculinities.
You can now watch the symposium here (professor Armengol's intervention from timestamp 34:40 to 45:10).
To access subtitles in YouTube, click on the “Settings” icon, select “Subtitles/CC,” and then click “Auto Translate.” A list of languages you can translate into will be displayed. Please note, most of the symposium videos are translated using YouTube's voice-recognition software, so the quality of translations will vary, and auto-generate subtitles are not currently available for languages other than English.
You can watch a video of the workshop at the 5th ICMEO Conference held on 3-4 September 2020, which includes José María Armengol's intervention about MascAge and cultural representations of aging masculinities, here. Dr. Armengol's intervention starts about the 24-minute mark.
